WHO’S WHO


RON MacCLOSKEY (Groucho)

Ron has been performing his “Groucho” for over 20 years. Starting his show business career in the Catskills in 1973, Ron has worked on cruise ships, radio, television, and on stages across the country. As a stand-up comic in Los Angeles, he played the nightclub circuit including The Comedy Store and The Laff Stop. In New York, he has performed at The Original Improv and Stand Up New York. For a while, he was even a professional clown with Clyde Beatty Cole Brothers Circus. Besides writing this one-man show on Groucho Marx, Ron has produced several TV shows, including a game show called Lucky Guess. Ron currently lives outside New York City with his wife and two daughters.


“MADE IN AMERICA” TROUPE MEMBERS

Ashley Birmingham
Ten year old Ashley is a child actress-singer. She can currently be seen in Off-Broadway show, The People Garden, and has toured New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. In addition, Ashley has appeared in Annie as “Molly,” Fiddler on the Roof as “Schprintze,” and The Sound of Music as “Marta.” She studies dance at The Arts of the Dance Center and is in her third year of voice at Music Central.

LAURA OSELAND
Laura is an experienced actress and has played on stages in both Minnesota and New Jersey. Her favorite roles were the title roles she played in the musicals Heidi and Alice In Wonderland. Laura won the Toby Award 2000 for Rising Star Actress. Laura has just completed roles in A Christmas Carol and The Sound of Music.

Michelle Russell
Michelle is a singer/actress/writer who has appeared in theater, cabaret and film on both east and west coasts.
In the last few years, Michelle wrote and appeared in the living history program at the Judy Garland Birthplace, An Afternoon with the Gumm Family (MN), as well as Come & Get Your Happiness: Songs from the Films of Shirley Temple in NYC.

Sofie Zamchick
Eight year old Sofie, has performed in numerous shows with the JCC Palistage Youth Theatre. In addition to singing, dancing and acting, she is an accomplished piano player, studying at the Thurnauer School of Music since the age of 4. Sofie is represented by Goldstar Talent.
